The 3/4” thickness can be used for daily training, and also has room to put a very thin blanket on for use in the show ring. If you have a combined gear/rider weight of 200 pounds or more, or regularly ride over rough terrain, or longer than 4 hours at a time, please go with a 7/8” or 1” thickness.
The Barrel Skirt pad is perfect for shorter, smaller saddles. It would be best for saddles skirts measuring between 24”-26” in length, and with rigging of 28” (or less) across.
You can choose the skirt shape that works best with your saddles. You can have all square corners, or you can choose to round the front, back, or both sets of corners for no extra charge. (Just be sure that your pad will protrude at least 1” on all sides of your saddle skirts—but no more than 2” in the front and back.)
Your pad will also come with a dry cleaning sponge to easily wipe off the excess hair buildup.

Leather Colours
Included available choices are brawny, black, and latigo. (See image in the listing images for a swatch.) Unless you specify otherwise, 5 Star will use the brawny leathers. You could also choose to make your pad one-of-a-kind with a hair-on hide leather choice for an added charge. See the "Current Leather Options" above to see the current selection available.
Make It Unique!

Logos and Ship Time
While most regular orders will ship out of 5 Star’s shop in 3-5 business days, adding an embroidered logo will add about 10 days to that time. Expect tooled detailing to add about three-four weeks (depending on the amount of tooling required).
